STF8300M Getting Black Frames

Using CCDops the camera started giving Black frames anything I tried, Flats, Darks, Lights and using the Xhair for pixel data , I get a Value:1000 , AvgVal:1000.00, Noise: 0.00.

did your stf work previously with this setup ? Can you try different pc ?

Hi Jan, the camera was working fine. I was taking some flats, the first few were ok, and then started getting the black frames with 1000 ADU all over. I tried darks also still the same. Then I installed CCdops and drivers on a different pc, still getting the same black frames.

 

I am not quite sure, but it looks like analog board of your stf camera could be broken. I also have my stf with the same problem, its I/O board works well with pc, but data are all 1000 ADU and I definitelly know that analog board is broken. The best is to contact Bill. But as I said, I am not sure if your camera has the same HW problem as my have, so I do not want to create some panic...
