Hi, I have an STi camera for autoguiding, but I have a problem which appeared since 2 month. Camera is visible in device management, but it's impossible to etablish link with acqusition software and SBIG DriverChecker. I try with an other cable, an other port and an other PC. The probleme is the same. I sent an e-mail to Bill Lynch who said me to post my question here. So do you have an idea ? Best Regards, Jean-Christophe
Hi, Sorry for my late reply, but I have not had much time in recent months. I have always my problem with my STi. Here is the screenshot of device manager. As you can see, STi is present in device manager. So if you have an idea how I can't etablish connexion with my STi, I will be delighted. Best Regards, Jean-Christophe
Hi, Normally I use Prism (a french software) but I try to connect STi with CCDObs. I can't connect STi also with SBIG DriverChecker (firmeware upadate windows). Jean-Christophe
Are you using Windows 10? I was able to reproduce the issue you are seeing on one of my computers only. All other computers worked correctly with the camera. I performed a system restore to approximately 1 month ago, and now the camera works correctly. The only thing I can conclude is there is Windows file system corruption, or a Windows update has broken something. Is it possible to perform a system restore to an earlier time?
Hi, I try many things, but nothing work : 1/ I restore my system --> no change, connexion is impossible 2/ I change computer on W7 --> my SBIG is seen like an atik camera because in this PC I have also an atik camera 3/ I try to connect with RPi with Ekos/INDI --> connexion is impossible. For me, the problem is hardware but if you have an other idea... Best Regards,
