How the mechanical shutter of the Aluma camera works?

I notice that can be open or closed with the finger. Does the Maxim LT automatically take charge of it? It will be helpfull any information that is not in the owners manual. Thanks in advance.

With the power off you can move the shutter. With the power on it will resist you, but you can overcome it if you push.

MaxIm LT doesn't know anything about how the shutter works. The camera firmware handles everything.

It opens and closes moving in the same direction. After the exposure is over it rewinds to the start position again. This is done to ensure consistency.

So I just take the bias frames and donĀ“t worry about the shutter? (I mean it will close automatically. Am I right?)

Yes of course! The software tells the camera what exposure settings it wants, and tells it to start the exposure. The camera then manages the entire exposure sequence internally.
