AO calibration

    Hi, the MaximDL help says that AO calibration only needs to be done once. Is this affected if the AO unit is rotated? I presume the mount calibration of the AO unit would need to be redone after rotation.

    If the AO unit is unbolted from the camera, rotated, and reattached then yes, it will need to be recalibrated.

    If the camera/AO assembly is rotated on the telescope, then no. You would have to recalibrate the drive, but not the AO itself.
