I bought in 2005 in Italy the CCD camera SBIG STL-1301-E s.n. 020500270 After several years of successful use of this CCD camera suddenly emerged a problem. After about half an hour of use, are highlighted in the frame big pattern due to readout noise (I suppose). I tested the system on different software and different computers even without any other electrical device in operation but the problem continues to occur. I also tried to exclude (via software) system cooling without any feedback. Any advice? Roberto, This looks like what is described in the Application Note, STL Analog Board Manufacturing Defect. Go to the SBIG website, click the "Support" tab, select "Application Notes Archive" and scroll down to the 15th article. I don't believe that the European Repair Facilities exist any longer, that was written 10 years ago, but I can take care of it.
