Is it possible to set up the calibration function in CCDOps to allow us to pick which star in a field we want to use for calibration ? We are able to pick the star we want to use when setting up to autoguide, but not for calibration. This is especially frustrating when trying to do a calibration with multiple stars in the image field, because the program seems to "get lost" and forgets which star it was looking at to do the calibration.

I don't believe CCDOPS can do that. The reason is that it's hard to identify the same star in multiple images, especially when bright stars are coming in and out of the frame during the process. CCDOPS is a good basic tool but doesn't have that kind of sophistication.

FYI, MaxIm DL can do that. Even better, for crowded fields you can use the Multi-Star Guiding mode, which does pattern matching between all the bright stars in each successive image.
