Please upload the file to our ftp server, ftp.cyanogen.com, anonymous login, transfer into the "incoming" folder.

I recommend using FileZilla, which is a free download.

    Hello Kim Byungcheol,

Can you send me the following information?

    - Your installed version of SBIGUDrv.dll. This is found in SBIG Driver Checker 64's "Driver" tab.
    - Your camera's installed version of STF-8300ga.bf2. This is found in SBIG Driver Checker 64's "Firmware" tab.
    - Your camera's installed version of STF-8300usb.bf2. Also found in the "Firmware" tab.

    - SBIGUDrv.dll = 4.88Build4 (06-25-15)
    - STF-8300ga.bf2 = 2.18
    - STF-8300usb.bf2 = 2.47

I finally got access to the FTP server, but I didn't see anything that could have been your log file. Could you zip everything together with the file name "kimbyungcheol_8_20_2015.zip" and re-upload it, please? I suspect you're experiencing a hardware issue, but I'd like to rule out any driver and firmware issues before telling you to send it in for repairs.

I can't recall seeing images like this from any other STF before. I can't say it isn't software but I'm prone to thinking it's a camera issue. It looks like noise streaks to me and I would think it would have been seen before, by somebody, if it were a software thing.
Noise can be caused by a number of things, internal or external to the camera. You can help determine if it's external by removing any accessories in your setup, one by one, and see if that has any effect.
Is the noise pattern consistently in the same spots every exposure or does it bounce around with each one? There was a case recently of a random noise pattern that was the result of expended desiccant, a wet interior and corroded ccd pins. Either by short or by penetrating the corroded portion of the pins, the images started showing a noise pattern when actual water droplets started forming inside the ccd chamber. I'm not suggesting that's the case here but it shows the extent of the possibilities.
You can send me the raw dark frame Kim, bill@sbig.com, I can get it to Doug and Adam for you. Haven't I given you the details on how to send it in?

    -Bill

    Kim,

I got the email, thanks, but I only had a chance to look at one image and it looked pretty normal. I was only able to see it in Maxim and I'm not too savvy with that program. I saw that some others were cc:'d on it so perhaps they have an input.
Maybe I missed something but I was under the impression that all of your images have this noise pattern. If that is true then I think it's a camera issue and we're just letting time slip by in getting it repaired.

    Bill,

Do you judge that my camera is malfunctioning?
We will send the camera to the repair center.
What are the documents required when I prepare?
Receipts are purchased by the camera in the OPT do you need?
I will be sent by DHL.
Because I have the account number on DHL.

    Kim Byuncheol,

I just spoke with our hardware engineer and he confirms it's likely a vertical clock-related hardware failure of some description. Bill can help you organize an RMA.

    Cheers,
    -Adam

May I know what was the problem with the camera. I think my STF 8300K may have similar issues developing.
