Cannot open FITS files from Mercator Telescope

    FITS Files generated by the various instruments of the Mercator telescope on La Palma cannot be openened by MaximDL, unlike with other programs like ds9, IRAF, MIDAS etc.
    How can this be solved?
    It may be due to the keys NAXIS=0, EXTEND = T, in which the NAXIS is redefined.

    Our FITS package does not support EXTEND formatted FITS files. You may need to convert the files using another program.

    Thanks. Saving the original file with ds9 as Slice will indeed allow MaximDL to open the new file, although nearly all FITS keys are lost.
    Any chance that future updates of the "Pro" version may support FITS extensions, allowing us to use MaximDL for educational purposes?
