    Hi,

From posts about 2 years old, I understand that there is an issue with Maxim crashing when using the Canon 6D.
Can anyone please advise if the Canon 6D now works well with Maxim, including the ability to autofocus.

    I appreciate your help
    Sam

Issue was caused by the 6D having a GPS. MaxIm now handles that correctly.
Not sure what you mean by autofocus. Usually people are putting the camera on the back of telescope.

Thank you so much for the reply.
I will test imaging with the 6D.
I was not clear about autofocus; I meant the ability to use the telescope mechanized focusing and using Maxim to find the ‘sweet spot’.
Thanks again, I appreciate your help.

Yes, just like MaxIm's focus routine works with a CCD camera.
The only think you might want to experiment with is whether to bin 2x2 to combine RGGB coloured pixels together.
