Below are recommendations only, and could possibly damage the window. If you are cleaning the window, as with any sensitive optics, you do so at your own risk as window damage is not covered under warranty.

    Supplies:

    -compressed air
    -ethyl or isopropyl alcohol
-lens cloths preferred or kleenex without any additives
    -microfiber cloth

    Things to note:

-depending on the camera, your window may have AR, IR or other type coatings and scratch VERY easily. All it would take is a grain of dust on your cloth to create a giant scratch. All materials and work spaces should be as clean as possible.
-household cleaners should *NEVER* be used.

    Steps:

1.) Use the compressed air to remove any loose detritus from the window and window retainer.
2.) Fold a lens cloth or Kleenex so it has a rounded edge approx the width of the window but slightly more narrow so it fits within the opening.
3.) Moisten the edge of the cloth with the alcohol and make one swipe evenly across the window. The alcohol should evaporate quickly (2-3 seconds). If you use too much alcohol, it may dry too slowly, creating moisture stains on the window.
4.) Use the compressed air to remove any loose detritus from the window and window retainer.
5.) Use the microfiber cloth to buff the window in a circular motion to remove any moisture stains or smudges. NOTE: The microfiber cloth by design, grabs and holds dust particles within it's fibers. It is CRITICAL that the microfiber cloth be immaculately clean, or even better, brand new, as the smallest piece of dirt could scratch the window coating.
6.) Use the compressed air to remove any loose detritus from the window and window retainer.
