Hello I would like to ask if is possible to connect the sbig CFW9 filter wheel to the sbig stf-8300m camera and use it with 1.25" filters. If yes I need some special adapter to connect the filter wheel to the camera? Also I have two telescopes: Vixen ED81s f/5.2 Vixen VC200L f/6.4 If I use 1.25" filters with sbig stf-8300m I will have significant vignetting and coma? Thank you in advance Konstantinos
Electrically it will work, but we do not have mechanical adapters for that purpose. Perhaps Precise Parts can help with that. A 1.25" sensor is only barely larger (2.9 mm) than the sensor, so you will definitely have some vignetting; how much depends on your f/ratio and how far the filter is from the sensor (which depends on your adapter). Coma will depend on the design of your telescope, not the filters.
