disabled ok button

    Hello.

    After installing the Software and copying the demo license i end up with this problem...

    "If the license is visible but the OK button is not enabled, then your license is invalid.

    The license may be invalid if it is corrupted or intended for a different software package.

    Please contact technical support via our web site at http://www.cyanogen.com for assistance."

    Demo version uninstalled and reinstalled with same results. Any ideas?.

    Did you receive a license file as an attachment to your license email or are you trying to copy the license details directly from the email using copy to clipboard?

    I see that Diffraction Ltd have gone back to issuing licenses both as an attachment to the license email as well as including the license within the text body of the email.

    Check your license email and see if there is a separate license file attached, if there is, copy the attachment to your documents folder, open Maxim, use the 'Load File" button on the User Registration tab and navigate to the saved license in your documents, hopefully that will work.

    If you didn't receive a license attachment and are trying to use the copy to clipboard directly from the license email then the problem is most likely that your web mail client is altering the format of the email for display which corrupts it.

    Look for the option in the web mail client that you are using for any of the following, Download Mail, Download Raw, Save As, Download Native etc.... or, Display Raw, Show Raw, Display Native...etc

    For any of the download options save the email or raw file to desktop, open Maxim and in the User Registration page choose 'Load File', change the search window options to Display All Files and select the just downloaded email or raw, in most cases Maxim will recognise and accept the native or raw email as a valid license.

    If you can only display the mail in your web mail client with the option to display raw, show raw, show native etc then do that, which will restore the email to the way Diffraction Ltd created it, select and copy to clipboard the entire text inside the email, including any of the routing information displayed, then open Maxim, open the User Registration page and this time the license should be valid and you can Ok to continue.

    If non of the above works post back here and Diffraction Ltd staff will send you a new license but it may be delayed until after the Easter holidays.
