    Hi
    I have a ST-i camera connected via USB to a Win7 64bit OS laptop.

CCDOps5 connects to the camera ok and provides info as per attached. However, when I run the ESrvWin application I get an error as per below:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\SBIG\CCDOps5>ESrvWin.exe u

    ESRVWIN.EXE Parallel/USB Server Ver 1.40...
    Usage:ESrvWin [lptPort] [ u] (lptPort=1,2 or 3, u=USB)
    Opening SBIG USB driver...
Error:Couldn't find any USB cameras. Attach a powered-up one and rerun.
    Hit any key to exit:

Are you able to assist with this issue?

    Thanks
    Gary

Gary, I'm just another customer, but read your post. Is this something new you are trying to do? That ESrvWin utility is a blast from the past, designed for older generation SBIG cameras. I'm not sure that the STi would work with it.
What are you trying to do? remote the camera to another PC?

    Hi Colin
Yes, I'm trying to use the camera remotely from another computer. The simulator application (EthSim2) runs ok and is able to simulate a ST-i.

I tried it for fun, including on an XP box, and no joy. Even tried the old drivers. The ESrvWin utility didnt find the STi on USB, but CCDOPS did work. Suspect this utility just isnt supported anymore.
