    Hi Doug,

I have an SBIG ST10 XME camera, serial # 100308622 xme.

The manual says that it does not have firmware, however in the Device Manager it’s shown as
    ‘SBIG with Firmware’.

How can I correct this problem?

What problems might this be causing me?

    I’m using a Dell i7 with Windows 10, CCDSoft ver. 5.00.217,

CCDOps ver. 5.38 build 2-NT, SGP and PHD2.

    Thanks,

    Dal Eaton

The camera does not have built-in firmware. The firmware is loaded into the camera by the PC when it first connects.

It will show up as SBIG with Firmware when the camera is properly initialized. This is not a problem.

    Does the camera actually work?

    Hi Doug,

Thanks for the very prompt reply. One less thing to worry about.

Yes, the camera works, at least the main imager.

I’m still having problems trying to get the autoguiding to work.

I need more time and data before I can ask the right questions.

    Thanks again,
