The product description indicates that the optics involved in this filter wheel have a built in focal reducer to allow for a larger FOV. I haven't gotten to the point of setting up and guiding yet, but I am anticipating that I may need to know the amount of 'focal reduction' so that auto-guiding software understands what the new effective focal length of the entire system will be. Am I thinking about this correctly ? Is the amount of focal reduction for this equipment available ?
It’s approximately o.6X IIRC. Typically the software figures out the movement rates using a simple calibration step. You shouldn’t need this information to operate the guider.
