How connect an STXL 11002 with Ethernet cable?

Hi

i only used my camera with USB in the past, but now i want to use with an ethernet cable cause the distance wich separe my home and my observatory is about 30 meters

I took the IP number of the cam using CCD OPS, but when i connect the cam at the PC with the ethernet cable and when i give the number IP , it dosen't work i have an error message...

Do you know something about this, maybe i haven't do a procedure with the pc?
