I have processed many image sets. But the last three sets or so have resulted in totally strange colors.

I used LRGB processing but can not figure out why the colors are off. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Please upload the four LRGB FITS images. (If too big you can ftp to ftp.diffractionlimited.com or use dropbox)

A stack of each band would have been better... but this may be enough.

The Green frame looks really thin. I think that's your problem. Is it maybe the wrong filter, like a narrowband instead of green?

Well I checked the filters, cause they have been in the carousel for 2-3 years, its an IFW and the control box, maxim and filter wheel and agree when the filters are picked via either the autosave routine or the exposure control. I checked that more than once and am baffled.
The header identifies the filter as designated. I tried stacking the groups and then color combining the stacks.Still crazy.

I decided to run a set of files form April of the same object. When stacking the files, using choose a folder, the files group and green is green , the red group has the blue files in it and the blue group has the red files in it. Is that odd ?
This time processing the old files produces the same colors as the files from the other day !
It is not the filters but how they are being interpreted.
