    Hello,

I'm using sinse yesterday the test version of Maxim DL Pro6.
There is not USB choise for the SBIG STL-11K. Only 1 Ethernet and 3 Parallel .
What can I do to connect my CCD camera?
    Thanks and regards,
    Guenter

First, does the SBIG camera show up in the Device Manager? Does it work in CCDOPS?

Is it plugged in prior to starting MaxIm DL?

    Hello Doug,

The camera is show up in the Device Manager.

With CCDOPS I have also problems. In "MISC" is USB selected but after opening "Setup" still the message "camera not found".

Is it plugged in prior to starting MaxIm DL? --> yes. Camera was plugged in and running

    Thanks for your help!

Did you run the SBIG Driver Checker to install the drivers? Download it from:

    ftp://ftp.sbig.com/pub/SetupDriverChecker64.exe

Install and then run, and update drivers.

    Doug,
Software is identical to what I have had. Update & download done without success.
Firmware download with DriverChecker64 not possible! No access to the camera.
Device Manager and Driver overview for your Information attached.

    Hi Guenter,

I'm looking into the issue. Thanks for the report. Are you running a 64-bit version of Windows?

    Cheers,
    -A

Would I be able to log-in remotely to troubleshoot? Say via Teamviewer?

    Hi Adam,
I spoke today with the dealer of the camera and one of the engineers remember that "old" problem with STL-11k:
Devive manager shows the camera but was not found by the software.
He said that the USB HUB is with a high probability responsable for. The DC 5V are for some Notebooks not enough. Enough for the device manager but not for the camera controll.
I will try it with an external power supply first.
If it not works can we discuss your option.

Many thanks again for your time!
I come back to it as soon as possible.

    Regards, Günter

    Adam, Doug,
    It works!!!
Separate power supply (13,8V) for the USB hub solved the problem.
MaxIm DL and CCDOPS found the STL camera directly.
Thanks again for your support and time.

    Regards from Germany
    Günter
