Looking for an adaptor that goes from Tak TOA 67 reducer to my STXL 6303 with the FW8G self guiding wheel. There may be one out there that Tak already makes but not sure. What may help is understanding what exactly is on the camera e.g female T-thread? or what the exact specs are. Thanks
Apparently the part listed as "TOA reducer to STL" is not the one. So perhaps I am going to need a custom one from Precise Parts? Dave
The STL adapter is different. See page 29 of the user manual http://www.sbig.com/site/assets/files/1403/stxl_manual_122012_v1_3.pdf for specifications of the nosepiece. If Tak doesn't have something, Precise Parts can make an adapter for you. http://www.preciseparts.com/ppmain/index.html
Ok. Question I have now is what is the 3" accessory ring. Is that an extension piece you get separately or is that standard on the camera? I noticed on the backfocus table there is a difference with and without the ring. I guess I am not sure if I have the ring or not? I've been using the camera for over a year now so probably it's on there? ??Also what happened to the backfocus table? Did you guys move it somewhere when the website was redone? Dave
