Hello, I am trying to adjust the mirror dovetail of the OAG for my telescope, a Pentax 75 f/6.7. In the OAG hardware I have found a small key allen, should be 1.5 mm. Is the smallest I have found but is too big to fit inside the setscrew, so I am wondering if this is the right piece of hardware to do this job. An other question is how many mm should the dovetail protrude for my telescope? 6.2 mm could be fine?
    Thanks a lot

    Giulio

    Dear Giulio,

I have attached 2 PDF's to help you.
The mirror has a 4/40 setscrew.
4/40 Set Screws (takes .050 allen wrench)

    I hope these help.
    Cheers
    Tim

Thanks for the info Tim. Probably in the set that I received the right allen wrench is missing or was wrongly replaced with the larger 1.5 mm (there are two ot them). Unfortunately in Italy is not easy to find a 0.050 (1.27 mm) allen wrench. It seems that we use different size!
    Regards
