Please excuse me if this has been asked before (even by me!) When I click on the far right box in the Autosave Sequence dialog in order to select a script to run at the end of every slot's exposures I only have choices for VB and JS. Any way to offer a python option? This won't be running anything with in MaxIm, just running a set of relays that turn on calibration lamps in a spectrograph.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Mike, I'm just another customer. The normal scripting engine built into Windows (jscript.dll etc.) supports JS and VB, and that is what MaxIm can couple to. You might consider writing a little JS that shells out to your Python interpreter and code.

Thanks Collin - MDL will also work with Python scripts, I've written a "few" - but in those cases it is Python that runs the scripting interface, not the other way around. I was just wondering if it was even possible to have MDL trigger an external Python script. Apparently not.
