    Hi all,

I am currently working with FITS images and attempting to remove an overscan area on the right hand side of each frame as well as one pixel of border containing no data. To do this I have used the "Remove Bad Pixels..." feature in MaximDL, however, each time I use this it adds significant noise to the image. It does this regardless of changing the noise parameter to 0 or even if I use the crop feature instead. I simply want to trim my frames without adding any noise to the images but I'm now at a loss.

    Any help is much appreciated.

If you want to trim the frame on the edge, I would recommend using the Crop command.
