I have some issues with creating Bias frames.
    earlier today I took 100 bias frames - 0.09 secs at -13C.
averaged those to get a master bias frame.
then took 50 darks at 30 secs each, also at -13C.

However, the average for the Bias is higher (928) than for the Darks (869).
This doesn't make sense at all.

    Can somebody help?

    Thanks/

    Hello Doug,

I downloaded the updated driver checker and updated the drivers, as well as the firmware.
Driver is now 4.92 Build 1 for sbigudrv.dll. Although it already was I think.
Firmware is now 2.53 for stf-8300usb.bf2 and 2.22 for stf-8300ga.bf2 respectively. These were 2.48 and 2.18 before.

do I need to do anything on the tab Config Driver. Auto Bias Level Correction is currently unchecked but given your comment above does this need to be checked?
    What does it do exactly?
    Asynchronous USB ID is unchecked.
    Overscan rows/columns are 0.
Are these in order? I don't know what they mean.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

You do not need to change any settings. Firmware should sort out your issue.
