    Hi everybody,

Our planetarium has a STL-11000M (S/N 07021466) with FW8-STL filter wheel. Despite having the CCD for many years we just started using the auto guiding feature last night, with very good results at first. However, after an hour of operation the guiding chip started to saturated from the bottom part and the whole autoguide image soon became saturated (intensity = 65535).

I heard that some earlier units of STL-11000 has a component that needs to be changed. But I am not sure if it affects internal guiding chip too. The main chip image does have some warm pixels sprinkling around though.

We have spent a large amount in buying the camera and filter wheels and would really like the system can remain in service in the years to come. So any suggestion will be appreciated.
