If you are not experiencing any issues with your camera, you do not need to update your firmware. Firmware version 2.43 is already out of date, and there were some important stability fixes in 2.45 (the most recent version). If you would like those fixes, I can provide the updated firmware files. If you are not comfortable updating your camera's firmware, I can update it for you using a remote support program like TeamViewer.
Thank you, Adam I understood my situation. My Driver is latest and firmware is old. Now I have some trouble with Sbig control (camera conrol program) after update driver. Basic question, 1.Dose latest driver work well without latest firmware? 2.I would like to downgrade latest driver to 4.76 Build 76. Then I will try to clear the problem. Could you help me? It's my pleasure! What issues are you having with the new driver? To answer your questions: 1. The updated driver should work well with older firmware versions — it should simply work better with the newer firmware. 2. We don't advise downgrading, but it is straightforward. To downgrade, put the older version of SBIGUDrv.dll (version 4.76 build 76) in "C:\Windows\System". Cheers, -Adam
Thanks a lot! My camera's situation is After upgrade(may be), Focus of main chip started to not work under using "SBIG control". But under using CCDops, It works well. I will try to look for cause of it more. Thank you again, Makoto
