    Hello everyone.
I realized recently that the stars have the side artifacts.
The recovery room is a SBIG sft mono with FW5 wheel and new Astronomik filters series 36mm deep sky, The Celestron tele edge hd 800.
In bin 1 artifacts are not there.
    I attach a frame from 300s in bin2 and temperature of -10
Someone happened to such a thing.
I apologize for my english .... Use google translate.
    Greetings Piero Italy

Can you send us a sample FITS image to examine?

What software are you using to capture images?

Which STF CCD type are you using?

I'm away on business, tomorrow I'll let you know.
The CCD was purchased in Italy at Skypoint less than a year ago.
    She thinks is defective?
    regards
    Piero

Hello Tim, the repairer after examining the fit tells me that it is normal and you can do nothing. But my other friends who have the same room do not have the lateral blooming. You can not do anything?

The actual response was that I thought the blooming was due to over exposure and perhaps Piero might experiment with shorter exposures. We've had further communication and he is going to work with the camera some more before making the decision whether to send it in or not. Apparently the blooming isn't constant.
