Spot on darks

    Hello,

    I recently bought a used ST8300C. When I take darks I see the dead pixels but I also see a spot what looks like dead pixels in the right corner below. This is the case when I take a cooled (300sec) and uncooled (120 sec) dark. I attached both images. Does someone know what this is?

    Can you upload a FITS frame? It's hard to tell much from a JPEG.

    Use FileZilla to upload to ftp.diffractionlimited.com (into the Incoming folder).
