    Hi everybody
Some time ago I sent my STF8300C to SBIG for repair due to a "blind" sensor and came back with the main circuit board replaced (and a new sensor I believe). It took me a while to understand that the Bayer pattern that was previously BGGR had changed to GBRG. After a long search I found out over the net that there are two different models of the color KAF-8300, KAF-8300-CXB-CB-AA-Offset (Standard Grade) and KAF-8300-CXB-CB-AE-Offset (Engineering Grade). Is there anyone able to explain to me if this could be the reason for the different Bayer Matrix and what is the difference between the two sensors?
    Thank you!

    We only sold standard grade.

It’s just the alignment of the image frame. We’ve noticed small changes in sensor specs since Kodak was taken over by ON Semi; it might be related to that. In any case the difference is inconsequential; just adjust your settings as required.
