    Hi all!
I'm Tommaso and i'm writing from Italy.
I have a really big problem. I have got an sbig st-8300 with its filter wheel FW8-8300. In the image i see strange little balck spots from the left side to the centre of the image, looks like group of black pixel. The strange thing is that they only appear in flat and light frames, dark and bias frames are clean and good, AND ONLY WHEN TEMPERATURE IS BELOW ZERO °C.
so I think it may be ice in the sensor and i have to replace the dissecant. But before proceeding I would like to know your opinion. I have upload 3 images for example, in the most zoomed one you can also see an hot pixel in the centre of each black spot, REALLY STRANGE!
    Please help

Ok, Thank you Doug! I'm afraid that this is a problem with the microlenses, I can exclude it?

The microlenses aren't going to fail unless you melt the sensor. Please replace the desiccant per the manual.
