My STXL 11002 will not cool down anymore, ambient temp is about 30 degrees C, cooling 100%, fan on, but it will not go down.
Have tried to set cooling temp just a bit under ambient, but with no response.
    What can be wrong?

Insufficient voltage from the power supply would cause that. Check the LEDs on the side of the camera.

Have checked the LEDS with cooling on:

    STATUS: red led
    Volts OK: green led

Can you check the LEDs as you turn on the cooler? Sometimes what happens is the voltage drops when you turn on the cooler, and then it gets too low and the camera shuts down the cooler to protect itself. This tends to happen if you have small gauge wires (i.e. often through-the-mount wiring) between the power supply and the camera.

Also what is your camera serial number?

    Hi Doug!
When I power on the camera, one green and one red light.
When I turn on the cooler, one green and one red.
    Just solid... No flashing

It's my original power supply and cables, nothing added.
    The camera serial number is:X13110295

Hmm... just in case please update all software, firmware, and drivers to the latest.

But I think it's going to have to visit Bill @ service. Please contact bill@sbig.com

We really don't get enough repairs to make that practical. "Unfortunately."
