I would like to have your confirmation that the STXL 16200 with the standard wheel http://diffractionlimited.com/product/fw8s-stxl/ has a total back focus of 45 mm as i find on p. 31 of http://diffractionlimited.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/stxl_manual.pdf Is there another model that can be coupled ? i have a short back-focus on Takahashi E180 from its flattner: 56 mm. thanks Doug, to be as clear as possible do i have to remove the 3" accessory ring unscrewing the bolts and fix the wheel screwing the bolts ? with Precisepart i can build an adapter for the telescope side that can be screwing thread or bolted ; what do you advise? Can i purchase directly from you? generally i use OPT but they have not in stock and i see a different price than your listing price (1.500$). P.S.: i have Astrodon filters rounded unmounted , i suppose they are 3mm....?
The STLX wheel essentially replaces the front lid of the camera. Normally you would take the 3" adapter off the front of the camera and put it on the wheel. I recommend bolted attachment since that will allow you to achieve a lower profile. I suspect the Astrodon filters are 3 mm but you should check with them. And of course, you can order directly.
