Hi Doug, if the guiding star during calibration moves only in Y and not in X, what could be the issue? The cable, Maxim 6.18 configuration? Thanks stefano
99% probability it's the cable. Check for damage. Those RJ-12 connectors are not the most robust. There is a setting under Guider Settings to turn on/off each axis. That's also a possibility, though less likely assuming you don't hit buttons at random.
