Doug I received a whole new batch of filters yesterday for the STXL16200 and installed them today. Using the rubber O-ring together with the housing for the screw results in the screw sitting too high in the carousel meaning the carousel belt catches the top of the screw - significantly. I removed all of the o-rings and replaced them with flat washers that I had but even after tightening those screws way beyond that I normally would, the belt still catches. It is not preventing the carousel from rotating but it cant be good. Martin
I'm not picturing what you are saying. The filter hold-downs are on top of the wheel. The belt runs underneath. How are they hitting?
Oh right, I'm thinking of the STT version. The Berg belts are very robust and won't be affected by a tiny bit of rubbing. They're designed to go 376 feet per minute and pull 12 pounds, and accommodate twists and turns. We're really not stressing them at all.
