Hi, I have recently ordered a STXL16200 with self guiding filter wheel. I have set it up using maximDL v 5.24. I have achieved focus on both main & guider ccd. I could calibrate the guider ccd. I can guide as long as the main the imager is not imaging, as soon as main ccd starts acquiring image guider goes blank as if it's taking dark frame. On setup tab of maxim I have: Sbig universal, STXL16200, External Remote, Dual chip mode enabled. Driver's are up to date and 5.24 is the latest in maxim version 5. Please advice. Regards Raki
Please zip and send us your "Settings" folder located in "My Documents/MaxIm DL 6", so we may see what options you have set.
I will swap the cables and do some more testing over next few days. Meantime attached is my settings folder

Out of desperation I tried the trial version of MaximDL6. It's still early to confirm but looks like the issue is isolated to Maxim 5. Maxim6 seems to behave as expected with the trial light box setup. I will be able to verify this over next few days under the real sky once the sky clears. I beleive the plugin/driver combo with STXL16200 is not working under maxim5. According to the driver checker the most last driver is still very new (couple of weeks old from memory). I am not clear on what you are asking for. You want to change the name of the person software is licensed to, or you want to request an upgrade to version 6? If you want to transfer ownership of a license, follow the details below: If you purchase a second-hand copy of Version 5 or 6, please have the original owner write to us stating that he/she has transferred the license to you, and that he/she has deleted all copies of the software and transferred all disks and manuals to you. We will also need a copy of your bill of sale. Once we have received this, we will record you as the current owner of that particular license. However, if you wish to have the license re-issued under your name, you will have to pay a re-registration fee of $100US. A new license with your name, but with the SAME Expiry Date as the original license will be sent to you. If you would like a new expiry date, then you will have to purchase a one-year or two-year subscription at the current posted subscription prices, in addition to the re-registration fee. If you purchase a second-hand copy of Version 1, 2,3, or 4, please have the original owner write to us stating that he/she has transferred the license to you, and that he/she has deleted all copies of the software and transferred all disks and manuals to you. We will also need a copy of your bill of sale. If you wish to upgrade to Version 6, you will then have to pay a re-registration fee of $100, and pay the applicable upgrade price for your version after submitting the upgrade request form.
