    I have a script written in Python that runs sequences of spectrographic observations - automates the wavelength calibration lamp, names files, saves, etc. What I've noticed is that as soon as the script gets to the fourth line, shown below, that the subregion checkbox on the main exposure tab becomes activated. As long as there is not a subregion that had previously been defined it seems to have little or no impact - but I've been bit a couple of times when, for whatever reason, a subregion happened to have been defined. In those cases it seems the subregion is the size of the guide camera chip. Anyway, just wondering if this is a feature? Any way to programmatically disable subregions? I've tried CCDCamera.SetFullFrame() following the "self.camera.BinY=2" line.

    Here's the code snip:

    self.camera = win32com.client.Dispatch( "MaxIm.CCDCamera" )
    self.camera.LinkEnabled = True
    self.camera.DisableAutoShutdown = True
    self.camera.BinY = 2

    Using MaxIm 6.02

    Thanks!
    Mike
