I have an SG-4 that works great with an old Vixen GP DX mount with DD-3 hand controller but I am not able to figure out how to successfully calibrate or autoguide on my (single axis drive) Skywatcher Sky Adventurer mount. The Sky Adventurer mount has a suitable SBIG autoguider port (same as the DD-3 hand controller).

I do not think the Sky Adventurer drive is receiving communications correctly although I doubt a cable problem because the same cable works well on the Vixen DD-3/DX mount. When I try to calibrate the SG-4 it does not seem change the drive speed of the mount. I have tried various min., max move and aggressive settings but this does not seem to change the situation. Maybe the autoguider port pins are not connecting well with the cable?

Any suggestions on diagnosing the communications issue or recommended SG-4 settings would be appreciated.
