Will STX-16803+FW5/7+AOX focus with my OTAs?

    Hello - from the docs it seems like an STX-16803+FW5/7+AOX need quite a bit of back focus (4.403" with the 3" accessory ring [not sure if I need it]). How do I know if my OTAs have that much back focus available.I have a Meade 14" f/8 and Tele Vue-NP101is on order but cannot find any information in their specifications

    I suggest you call the companies in question. I'm sure TeleVue will know.

    I would think most Schmidt-Cassegrains should have no problem with 4".

    I have a TeleVue NP101is and am considering an STX-16803. How did you make out with this combination?
