Hello, This thread is really interesting because i have exactly the same problem with a st8300m camera. A astronomer friend asked me to see if i could do something with his camera because the reseller suspected an eeprom problem but wanted to send it in USA for at least 3 or 6 months. (I'm in France). The camera is seen as a st402 in ccdops and in binning x1, the image size is only 768x521. Could we arrange a remote session to try a reset operation. Thank you for your help. Samuel
Hello, I've followed your thread "how to configure your sbig camera with ccdsoft" to program the eeprom and now ... it works perfectly. My st8300 is working as before. I'm very happy ( but quite angry because my reseller could have done a such operation or try to contact sbig to understand the problem). Thank you for your help with your forum. Kind regard. Samuel
