    My STF-8300 creates FITS files with following Image Header entries:

    Using FITS Libertor

    SITELAT = '42d36m32.400s N' / Latitude of the imaging site in degrees
    OBJCTDEC= '+61 20 15.403' / Object Declination in degrees in same FITS Liberator

    They are different formats.

    A Diffraction Limited doc (https://diffractionlimited.com/help/maximdl/FITS_File_Header_Definitions.htmstates)
    states:
    SITELAT – latitude of the imaging site in degrees, if available. Uses the same format as OBJECTDEC.

    I think this is causing the following parsing error in PixInsight:
    "[2019-08-31 15:40:12] *** Error: Parsing SITELAT FITS keyword: Parsing sexagesimal expression: Parsing integer expression: conversion error:"

    Do I need to update firmware in the my STF-8300? If so, Please point me the way.

    Thanks!

    Ok, the STF-8300 does not know anything about LAT/LONG. So it must be either SGPro doing it or iOptron (iEQ45 Pro), right?

    Sorry about this; it looks like it is an SGPro or IOptron (which supplies the GPS data) problem;

    Correct. The STF-8300 knows nothing about any of that. This is all software related.
