My STXL-16200 started failing on downloading the image. It may take one or two pictures OK, but then it fails on download? Is this a known or common problem?

    thanks,

    jim

The combination of the settings and short cable fixed it.
    I can troubleshoot from here.

    I cannot thank you enough.

    regards,

    Jim

Works with the cable through the hub, so it had to be the USB settings.

    Thanks

So check your power supply, power cabling, and the status LEDs on the side of the camera.
Check for a voltage drop - the status LEDs on the side of the camera will indicate low voltage.
e.g. maybe the power supply or cabling etc is not up to the job, and erratic operation resulting.
e.g. if it is hot (outside temperature) the cooler will be working hard and demanding a lot of current.
Check if you've set the cooler setpoint so low that the camera is exceeding Delta T. It may be shutting down.
