Staff Assigned: Bill Lynch STL-1100M Camera is just taking black images

Hello All,

I have come to use my mono STL-1100 tonight and all that it appears to produce is a black image. It connects to maxim ok and the shutter operates as does the filter wheel. No matter where I slide the screen stretch the image is black. I cant offer any more description than that.
Being located in the UK and the fact its out of warranty now what is the procedure to get it repaired if I cant get it to work. I don't know if I have done anything silly with the settings. I have tried MaximDL to connect and operate it also SGPro and the original SBIG software. None of them produce an image with stars on - yet it worked well last night.
Can I reboot the camera with firmware or anyone got any ideas.
