When attempting to download the latest Driver Checker 64-bit, I am asked for a User Name and Password for the ftp link...which I apparently don't have. How do I move forward with the download?
I have the same problem with anything related to USB cameras on this page also when trying to download anything from here.
There was some kind of permissions problem on the server, affecting certain browsers. I'm told it was fixed.
I have just tried it with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. It is still not working for me, either on Win 10 or on a Mac.
Okay something is definitely broken. We are following up with our service provider. In the meantime I have temporarily copied the installer to: http://www.diffractionlimited.com/temp/SetupDriverChecker64.exe This will allow you to download the installer. The Update button from within the Driver Checker will not work. However, the latest driver versions are included with this installer. Users who need to upgrade drivers can do so simply by installing the latest version above, instead of using the built-in Download button. We'll get this sorted out as soon as we can. Sorry for the trouble.
Thank you! Any chance you could do the same with the USB driver for the ST-9XE camera, and with the CCDOps software?
@Anton Travinsky — I've duped the contents of our public FTP folder on our web server. You should be able to download CCDOps from http://diffractionlimited.com/down/pub/InstOps.exe, and any legacy software from http://diffractionlimited.com/support/sbig-archives/ @Konstantinos — I've moved your query to a new thread here: http://forum.diffractionlimited.com/threads/st2000xm-driver-upload-issue.4788/
Adam, thank you for your response, I was able to download the software. However, when I run the driver checker I am getting the error attached. I am not sure if it is still the same ftp problem or am I doing something wrong. I have disabled my firewall, but the error is still there.
I'm trying to download the newest driver checker software and drivers for the ST-I. I get prompted with a username and password to the ftp site. How do I access it? Thanks Jim
I'm seeing what seems like this same problem. I try to download the driver checker and it asks for a username and password.
Hi, when trying to install the STT8300 drivers on a new computer via Driverchecker64/download it reported "error on connecting to SBIG servers: .... 530 Login icorrect. I repeated the step on the system, that I'm using for a long time without problems and got the same message. What can I do? regards, Andreas
I am getting the same error message with the driver checker, and I also get the request for a login when I try to download the driver checker again (and my login username/password is not accepted).
It should be fixed — if you're still having trouble, try clearing your browser cache/accessing the page in "incognito" mode (via your browser of choice). Sorry for the inconvenience.
