    Hi Doug,

I agree with you, the column problem is on the edge and is not terrific ...
The big problem is the level of noise into all fits (dark, bias and light)

here are capture from NGC6888, the first one taken this month ans the second taken in 2016
all are 600 sec bin 1
    (SAME LEVEL OF AUTO STRECH)
You will find the fits here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/n3wceacx1bu6y0e/AADMd-u9Ng2Xohyrt2k-eD97a?dl=0

The bias frames tell the story. The vertical bands are the least of your problems. The bias offset is way out of spec, the noise is higher, and there are bands across the image.

Looks to me like a probable internal power supply failure. The camera requires service.

Bill @ SBIG Service & Repair Center is on vacation until July 8. If you are in a hurry to get this looked at we could RMA it to Ottawa.

@Tim will provide you with an RMA number and instructions. Please follow the instructions as provided or there will be unwarranted charges for duty and taxes.

Oh, you are in Quebec, correct? That makes it simple. Tim just needs to give you an RMA number.

Maybe, but it looks to me like there is more going on.

We can try remotely adjusting it if you like.

@Adam Robichaud would have to log in, but of course he works regular business hours. I will leave it to you and Adam to work out the logistics.

I still think the camera needs to come in for service, regardless.

If you think the camera need to go for service, forget the remote option ...

    Thanks
