Ao8t installation

    I have the stt 8300 with the fw8g-stt filter wheel. Seems like I can install the ao8t either with the cables going the same way as the filter wheel or opposite(180 deg) which is correct? The manual doesn't have instructions for installing on the fw8g-stt. Thanks...

    It's not critical. Usually they're installed going in the same direction, but the software determines the orientation when you calibrate the AO.

    I was told by SBIG tech support rep Dave M. That it should be opposite to allow the AO-8 plate to fit the camera better.

    That's the way I installed it, but it seems like it could be installed the other way as well. Thanks
