    The switch is the little white topped button in the lower left, near the I2C connector.

    Also forgot to mention, you can hold the white button down to stop after verifying polarity.

    Ran this test, it does not move in y- axis. All of the others do. I have a video of it in my google drive that I can share with you if you would like to see it. Also, before I opened it up, I attempted to excercise it and it did not move. After I opened it, it does move when I exercise it, but not y-. One more thing to note, holding down the button does not stop the coil energizing procedure. I can manually move the plate freely in all axis.

    That is some very strange behavior. You should contact Bill Lynch in service and repair, and arrange to send it in to him for further investigation.

    Hi Colin:
    Thank you for your response.
    The remote guide head we're using is an Aluma/STT/STXL/STX Remote Guide Head. The order of the components is:
    Scope -> STX Guider -> AO-X -> FW7-STX filter wheel -> STX-16803 camera.
    Thinking about it: Is the Guide head supposed to be between the scope and AO-X or is the AO-X first? I may have done a booboo.
    Fabio.

    The guider must be behind the AO-X.
