I am experiencing frequent TX_TIMEOUT recently, the CCD is connected directly to the laptop USB port.
    Curent fireware version:
sttusb.bf2 1.10 which is the latest I think.
    sttga.bf2 2.62 , the latest is 2.66

    What's change from sttga.bf2 2.62 to 2.66 ?
    Thanks.

Check that Windows Power Management, USB Selective Suspend is disabled, and that all USB devices, hubs, root hubs, and PCIe devices do not have [] Allow computer to turn off device to save power.
That wll likely solve your timeout problem.

There are multiple small improvements, including removing a gradient that may appear in some images.

Thank you for the super fast reply. I will test the suggestion tonight.
Will it be worth to upgrade the firmware?

    Try the suggestion first.
Firmware upgrades should be done on reliable equipment, with known good USB, good AC power, no thunderstorms or risk of power outage, no other programs running on the machine at the time.
I don't think you have a reliable setup yet - so I would work on that first, before doing a firmware upgrade.
You can do the upgrade, but be patient, it can take several minutes to complete.

With the new driver upgrade (not firmware upgrade yet) and turn off the USB thing. The timeout is gone, at least last night. Thanks for the help.
