Was wondering, is one comm mode better (faster) (more stable/reliable) than the other? when using the AO-8T at high (short(est) exposure) rates. I'm using the guider in the FW8G - STT filter wheel.
Are the "brains". exposure. and reaction taking place in the pc through MaximDL, or is it actually all going on in the camera, FWG, and AO combo - and just reporting to the pc and MaximDL

The USB interface is a bit faster than the Ethernet interface. So you'll probably get a little more performance using USB.

I take that to mean the guider image is downloaded to maximDL which analyses it and sends an adjustment command to the AO?
