    A quick six-panel mosaic of M42 region

    CCD: STC-7
RGB - 90 seconds stack of three for 270' total (stacked by the camera)
Scope TMB 80 with TV 0.8 reducer for f/4.8

There is some problematic areas in the mosaic, due to residual Petzval Curve.
Maxim D/L was used for most of the processing as well as the mosaic.

    Red streak - airplane?

    Enjoy,
    Tim

    Looks gorgeous!
Red streak probably isn't a plane - usually they have "dashes" due to blinking beacon light usually on tail or body, and 3 to 4 streaks due to wingtip lights, body lights.
There's a couple green dashes in there as well.

Tim I would really be interested in playing around with some of your raw data sometime. Maybe you can upload some to Google drive and let me experiment? We have a bunch of cloudy days coming, and it would be nice to see before pulling the trigger.

    Hi Ross,

    Cloudy days here also....

I have uploaded some data and will continue to upload more. The uplink is very slow. Will send you a PM to the Google drive area.
Will have to verify the proper dark frames are available also.

    Best Regards,

    Tim
