MaxIm DL V5 Licensing

    Hi,

    My name is Rayhan and I work in Jakarta Planetarium and Observatory in Indonesia.
    A while ago, I found that my office has this MaxIm DL 5 in a box software with CD-ROM, a big manual book, and a sheet of letter about license information. It's never been used before so I give it a go and install it on my laptop.

    I follow the instruction in the manual book and enter the temporary license written in the letter. I successfully install it and open it but it's still on the temporal license. I then follow the instruction to register online to get a permanent license. I open the Help tab on the application then hit "Register Online". It leads to opening a browser to this broken or empty page: https://diffractionlimited.com/support/register.php?Product=323

    Then I try to hit "Check for Updates" on the Help tab and it refers to this page: https://diffractionlimited.com/check-for-updates/?Version=503&Expiry=000000
    I can fill in the Serial Number but I don't really know about the email address so I fill in my own email address. I hit submit then the error occurred, it says: "

    Waiting for Approval - An Error Occurred

    We were unable to process your request because your license could not be found in our records.
    Please ensure the data you entered was correct.

    I am really sure that the Serial Number is correct.

    I then try to use the feature of Get in Touch, Contact a Sales Representative and write all these chronologies. I then get the response email like this:

    "We regret to inform you that an error occurred validating your request to activate your Diffraction Limited Technical Support subscription. Please return to the Technical Support Application Form, and ensure the details you entered were correct. The Technical Support Application Form can be found at:

    Then I try to get technical support by fill in the application form then I stuck in the email form which stated to only use the email listed on my license, while in fact I never use any email to be listed on the license since the MaxIm DL software come in a Box with CD-ROM installation.

    I don't know what else to do so please assist us to solve this problem.

    MaxIm 5 is many many years old. The current version is 6.27 and was released yesterday.
