    Hi,
Suddenly my remote guide head has stopped producing any pixels - when taking images you get a smooth black image and no signal. This happens with TSX 32 bit and 64 bit and the RGH won't connect with Maxim, but strangely it does show a star and signal with CCDOps OK. I have tried downloading new drivers, reinstalling TSX and using a new TSX profile, but the behavior persists. The cables are all well seated. When you check the histogram, there is no data.
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Tim

Thanks. Turns out the cable was not seated well enough - it is a bit loose in the socket on the back of the RGH with a bit of play in the socket which is a bit loose. With "jiggling" of the cable insertion and taping it up, the autoguider is now working again.
    It was set to External.

    Cheers,
    Tim
